I’VE HAD A CRAZY PAST COUPLE OF WEEKS/DAYS AND SADLY MY BLOG WAS NEGLECTED. I’VE BEEN WORKING ON OUR BRANDING FOR OUR UPCOMING SPARKLE WOMEN’S CONFERENCE 2012, “JOY UNSPEAKABLE”. THE THEME IS MODERN 50′S {SUPER FUN}. I DECIDED TODAY IT WOULD BE FUN TO POST SOME INSPIRATION LAYOUTS THAT GO HAND IN HAND WITH THE BROCHURE INVITATION I HAVE DESIGNED. MY IDEA WAS TO FIND 50′S THEMED PHOTOGRAPHS, STORY-BOARD THEM AND INCORPORATE THE “MOCK” PHOTOS IN THE BROCHURE. THIS MAKES IT EASY WHEN I HAVE THE PHOTO SHOOT WITH THE MODELS BECAUSE I CAN HAVE A VISUAL OF THE OUTFITS, HAIR, MAKEUP AND SHOTS THAT I WANT. HERE IS SOME MOCK WORK THAT I DID. I LOVE TAKING COLOR BLOCKS AND OVERLAYING THEM ON TOP OF IMAGES. {SEE BELOW} // ENJOY //

Everything from the layouts/photos to the fashion/accessories is inspiring. The typography is very consistent: chunky and bold {my favorite kind} & the color are so vibrant they jump off the page. Being a lover of color, I am constantly experimenting and figuring out how to combine different colors.
